Privacy Policy

At MALENO, we care about your privacy as much as we care about getting your nail set just right. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe. By placing an order or getting in touch with us, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect information you give us directly:

  • Contact form — your name, email address, and message.
  • Orders via Instagram DM — your name, nail measurements, delivery address, and any design preferences you share.
  • Email enquiries — whatever you include in your email to maleno.pk@gmail.com.

We do not collect payment card details directly — payments are made via bank transfer and no financial data is stored on our end.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To process and fulfil your custom nail set order.
  • To respond to your questions or enquiries.
  • To send you order updates (dispatch notifications, etc.).
  • To improve our products and service based on feedback.

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing purposes.

3. Instagram & WhatsApp

Many of our orders and conversations happen through Instagram (@maleno.pk). Any information you share via Instagram DMs or WhatsApp is also governed by Meta's and WhatsApp's own privacy policies. We have no control over how those platforms handle your data.

4. Cookies

Our website only uses a session cookie set by Django to handle basic website functionality (such as the contact form's security token). We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies.

5. Data Retention

We keep order-related information (name, address, measurements) for as long as necessary to handle the order and any related queries — typically up to one year. Contact form messages are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your information. Our website is served over HTTPS. Order details shared via Instagram DM are protected by Meta's security measures. As a small business we do not operate large databases — your data is handled with care and on a need-to-know basis (i.e., only Maleeha sees it).

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of any inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to any legal obligation to retain it).

8. Children's Privacy

Our products are intended for people aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
